The First Month

Well...we made it through the first month...barely.  Mommy and Daddy are very sleep deprived as our lil one does not like to sleep at night.  He is a little snuggler and only wants to sleep on a warm body.  We are currently working on breaking this habit.  The first month was definitely not easy.  If its not one thing its another for our little Luke.  We first suffered tummy problems that made us very upset.  Our next obstacle was nasal congestion and coughing  that sent us to the Doctor's office for a check up.  We are now pros with the saline spray and nasal aspirator.  We are still getting over the cough but now we have a horrible case of baby acne/eczema.  Luke has been a trooper through this all.  He even gave us his first purposeful smile at 4 weeks.  It makes all the sleepless nights worth it!
