Babymoon in Maui

Last week we took our last trip as a family of two and spent our "Babymoon" in Maui.  We did nothing but lay by the pool, eat pineapple, and drink POG.  It was a very relaxing trip and our last chance to enjoy life without responsibility!

Baby Stats - 28 Weeks


By this week, Luke weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through the womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

We took our last trip to Before the Stork 4D Ultrasound in Costa Mesa to take our last peek at baby Luke before he got too big.  He was shy at first, as usual, but after some coaxing we got him to wake up and smile at the camera.  He looks more and more like his Daddy every time we see him.
