5 Months

I can't believe my little Lukey Bear is 5 months old!  He is rolling tummy to back and back to side.  He loves playing in his exersaucer and is beginning to bounce and spin in it.  He is using his hands to grasp objects and bring them to his mouth.  Everything goes in the mouth these days.  He has also developed this happy squeal and is talking all the time.  We also began introducing rice cereal at the very end of the 4th month.  He is now opening his mouth to accept the spoon.  He is still only taking a few bites, more for practice than nutrition, at this point.  He is beginning to fall into a schedule which will be helpful for the Nanny.  Mommy goes back to work, part time, in June.  It will be hard to leave my little man but I think it will also be a good break.  Wish us luck!

4 Months Old

Another month has flown by.  Luke is now sitting up in his bumbo, pushing up onto his elbows while on his tummy, grasping toys and bringing them to his mouth, and rolling onto his side.  He is fascinated with his hands.  We catch him looking at his hands in amazement daily.  He is also chewing on his hands like crazy.  Many of the pictures over this month are of him with his hands in his mouth.

Luke had his 3 month Photos taken at Sears.  This was our third attempt at making our appointment without tears or a meltdown. He was so good and smiled for the camera!
