11 Months

I can't believe in one month my baby is going to be One!  It has flown by so quickly. This past month has been a busy one for Luke.  He celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving, and he was baptized at our Church. He is learning new things every day.  He is now waving & attempting to say "bye bye."  He is practically running along furniture and standing unassisted for about 10-15 seconds.  With his new mobility we have had a few tumbles but thanks to Grammie's homeopathic remedy, Arnica, his bruises aren't too bad. He is eating a lot of different finger foods including small pieces of whatever John or I are eating. He still loves playing with his toys, going to Gymboree, and riding the swings at the park.  We can't wait for Christmas next month!

11 Month Stats:
Height: 28"
Weight: 18lbs
It's almost impossible to get the monthly shots anymore.  I had to give him the lens cap so he would sit for 2 seconds.

10 Months

The month of October has been a lot of fun.  We've been to Disneyland, the Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch,  and swinging at the park.  Luke has become such a fast crawler and mover.  He is now cruising along furniture, pulling up on any and everything, and talking up a storm.  He now says "mama" which just melts my heart.  We are now working on "dada." I forgot to mention last month that he now has his two bottom teeth and is working on the top teeth!  He now loves to pick up finger foods to feed himself.  I have to sneak in the purees now.  We are having so much fun and looking forward to the holidays over the next few months!

9 Months

We've hit a big milestone...9 months old!  Over this past month, Luke has become a handful.  He is now crawling all over the place.  He crawled for about 2 days before he started pulling to stand on furniture, toys, and even the wall.  He is busy, busy, busy!  This past month we took him to the park to ride on the swings and he loved it.  He also got his first hair cut.  John and I are enjoying every minute with our lil man.  He is beginning to show his little personality.  He greets us when we come home from work with a big wet kiss, usually on the nose or cheek!

9 Month Stats:
Height: 26.5"

8 Months

This 8th month blog post is coming a little late as I have not had a lot of free time lately with John traveling for work and with Luke being a little stinker and not taking naps.  Luke began scooting backwards and pivoting on all fours this past month.  He even tries to pull himself forward with his arms.  He didn't master the crawling in the 7th month...more to come in next months blog post! Over the 7th month we took Luke to the Orange County Fair, Disneyland to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean ride for the first time, and swimming.  He loves to be out of the house so we try to take him out as much as possible.  As long as we make it a short trip, he does great when we go out to dinner.  He loves to sit in the high chair and eat dinner with mom and dad.  He is eating stage 2 foods and starting to get the hang of puffs.  He also started drinking from a sippy cup with a straw.

8 Month Stats:
Height: 26.5" (Hard to get an accurate read with him always wiggling)

Its getting harder to take his picture with our Mini Milestones...He kept grabbing at it to put it in his mouth!
